To design a stool using and experimenting with CNC machine techniques.
The Pressa stool is a conceptual kitchen stool that is made from 24mm plywood. The final product explores experimentation
with flexible dry joints and locking mechanisms.
The final design utilises uses dry joints to assemble which gives the option to disassemble and flatpack for easy transportability.
The Pressa stool utilises a unique take on a mortise and tenon wedge joint. It experiments with the flexibility of the ply which removes the need for glue during assembly.
